Pfaff to be featured at next Meryl Norton Hearst Lecture Series Nov. 16 CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- Judy Pfaff, a MacArthur Award-winning artist, will be the guest lecturer as part of the Meryl Norton Hearst Lecture Series at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 16, in the Kamerick Art Building, Room 111. The event is free and open to the public.
Pfaff is best known for her sculptural and installation work but also creates paintings and prints. Her work has been exhibited throughout the world and is in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the National Museum of Women in the Arts and the Brooklyn Museum, among others. Pfaff has received awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Guggenheim Foundation, the Nancy Graves Foundation and the Barnett and Annalee Newman Foundation. Pfaff is the co-director of the Studio Arts Program at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y.
